O’Gorman welcomes €250,000 new funding for Dublin West from Community Recognition Fund 

“I’m delighted that three really worthwhile projects in Dublin West have today received significant funding from the Government’s Community Recognition Fund”.

“This fund was put in place by the Government to recognise the huge efforts made by communities welcoming and supporting people coming to Ireland. It is designed to provide real benefits and improvements to these communities”, stated Roderic O’Gorman TD.

In Dublin West, the projects benefitting are

 

Hartstown Community Centre                   €100,000             Building Refurbishment & Upgrade Works

Castleknock Community Centre                 €100,000             Rebuilding of old credit union building

Phoenix Football Club                                   €50,000               Storage Units for club equipment

 

“I know the work that each of these three organisations do, and this funding will help them advance really important large-scale projects. It shows the real benefits that our community in Dublin West is gaining from the Community Recognition Fund”, stated Roderic O’Gorman TD.
