Have your say on the Clonsilla Old School House Masterplan

Roderic O’Gorman TD at Old School House, Clonsilla

For years, residents in Clonsilla have told me that they want to see the Old School House on the Porterstown Road properly protected and restored.

Fingal County Council has prepared a Draft Masterplan for the Old School House lands at Clonsilla, Dublin 15. The plan will allow for the future development of the site which will include the restoration and active re-use of the Old School House building and the delivery of the Royal Canal Urban Greenway.

Now it is time for you to have your say on the future use of these lands.

The Masterplan documents are available to view at FCC offices at Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 during normal office opening hours between Monday 30th June and Monday 28th July and on the County Council’s online portal (see link below).

A public information event showcasing the Draft Old School House Masterplan will also take place at Blanchardstown Library, Blanchardstown Civic Centre, Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin 15 on Wednesday 9th July 2025, between 4.00p.m. – 7.00p.m.

I encourage you to look over the plans and have your say at the public event, via the online consultation portal.

To make a submission visit the online website: https://consult.fingal.ie/en/browse.

The deadline for submissions is 5pm on 28th July 2025.
