Consultation on upgrades to green spaces at Pecks Lane and Castleknock Green

Following consultations with local councillors, Fingal County Council is proposing to make some upgrades to the open spaces at Pecks Lane and Castleknock Green. It is undertaking a consultation to get residents views on these proposals, before going any further

Open Space at Pecks Lane: 

Fingal is proposing a new play area at the open space at Pecks Lane. This would be for children up to the age of 12. The proposal is for 5 items of play equipment, each surrounded by a rubberized surface, and a short new pathway linking them. 

Castleknock Green Upgrade: 

Fingal is proposing to install a looped pathway around the boundary of the open space. They are also suggesting putting in 4 benches. Examples of similar projects undertaken can be found at Delwood Open Space and Sycamore Park.
