Royal Canal Greenway Public Consultation

The second non-statutory public consultation on the Royal Canal Greenway is open until 7th July. The details of the proposed route can be seen on Fingal’s consultation portal.

I am a long-time supporter of the Greenway and when I was on Fingal County Council I worked to secure prioritisation for it. The section out on public consultation is the last section of the Dublin to Galway Greenway and it will be a huge amenity for residents across Dublin 15 when completed.

Submission on the proposed route can be made online via the consultation portal, or by post addressed to Senior Executive Officer, Planning and Strategic Infrastructure Department, Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 X8Y2.  Postal submissions need to be clearly identified as for the “Royal Canal Urban Greenway”.

Please send your submissions to me at roderic.ogorman@oir.ie.
