Improved bus services on route 39a

As someone who has long campaigned for better public transport services, I am really pleased to hear that Dublin Bus will operating a 24hr service, 7 days a week, on route 39a from Sunday 13th December.

Improvements to the service will also include a more frequent service between 11.30pm and 5am with a bus every 30 minutes, an additional 5 departures per week and an increase in the number of buses going across the whole route instead of terminating in the city centre.

This is fantastic news for those living in Dublin 15 and will enable them to travel quickly, safely and sustainably at night.
