Public Meeting - Royal Canal Greenway

Fingal County Council has recently published draft plans for a 'greenway' running from the 12th Lock in Castleknock all the way to the Kildare county border. It will offer a safe and accessible route for people to walk and cycle close the Royal Canal. I have been working to progress the Greenway project over the last 5 years and am really excited to see this project get to this stage.

Fingal County Council is running a public consultation on the proposed route and will be taking submissions up until Friday 22nd March 2019. You can see the plans and make a public submission here.

As I know many people in the area are interested in this project, I am holding a public meeting about it on Wednesday 13th March at 8:30pm in St. Brigid’s Community Centre, Blanchardstown Village. I will have maps of the various sections of the proposed route available for viewing at this meeting and can answer questions you may have on the proposal. I look forward to showing the plans to you.
