Pelletstown Taking in Charge update

I’m happy to share some updates with the proposed Taking in Charge of estates in Ashtown & Pelletstown Area. This comes in response to engagement myself and Feljin Jose the Green party candidate for Cabra-Glasnevin has made with Dublin City Council.

Back in July 2023, a meeting took place at the Planning and Property Development Department, bringing together Dublin City Council Services Divisions to look into the Ballymore Group's proposal for Taking in Charge of Pelletstown. A number of concerns about the Taking In Charge were raised at this meeting.

DCC has assured me that Ballymore Group has engaged with several divisions within Dublin City Council around the issues. These discussions have been ongoing for several months due to the complexities of the issue, which will mean that the Taking in Charge of Pellestown will take time to reach its conclusion.
